Christmas 2011

The Fort!
Well, Christmas is done and dusted. I had a fabulous time this year, was thoroughly spoilt and Mama and Dada have vowed that next year they have to find a way to limit the amount of stuff I get because it's just way too much for one child to ever possibly need! That said, I don't agree - I loved it all and have had a fabulous time finding homes for all my new books, games and toys.

The day started out fabulously, with Santa delivering the goods by leaving me a UBuild Battleships Game which was precisely what I'd asked for (imagine!). We had breakfast and opened more presents - my first Terry Pratchet book, some more Guardians of G'ahoole books, handball, a Big Cats 2012 calendar and of course, Mama and Dada's present which had been top secret all week.

I was in on the secret, but didn't really know the outcome - I just knew that a friend was here building a fort in the backyard, but I had no idea what it would look like when it was done. Clearly I was impressed because when it was revealed, Sam froze and kept doing a double take between the fort and Mama and Dada, whereas I stood, rooted to the spot for a moment before proceeding to jump up and down with great velocity for some time! Needless to say, we love it (which is just as well, because I don't think my parents would be too impressed if we'd reacted any other way!).

After rest time, everyone else joined us for Christmas dinner. I was chuffed to have turducken this year - another bird up on last year's ducken. We played with our new Hotwheels cars, opened pressies with everyone and in general, just had a great time!!! There's not a lot of photos this year - Mama was busy in the kitchen and everyone was just having fun relaxing! You'll have to take my word for it - we had the "awesomest day ever".
